The training objective was to comply with California and Federal Occupational Health and Safety 8 CCR 5144 (29 CFR 1910.134), and implementation of the written programs related to respiratory protection. This program applied to all employees who are required to wear respirators during normal work operations and during some non-routine or emergency operations such as a spill of a hazardous substance. Integrity Environmental developed the training curriculum and training packet for students. Training included explanation of procedures on how to properly use a respirator cleaning and disinfecting respirators after use proper storing of respirators to minimize damage, sunlight, etc. and designation of a program manager. Integrity Environmental trained 30 maintenance workers for 1-hour.
